Scalable sells packed and tailored software for auto-calibration of multi-projector displays. We also provide software support services to our distribution partners. Our skilled technicians offer consulting services on an as needed basis.

What information should I have ready when I call about my project?
Does Scalable offer color calibration of projectors?
Yes. SDT offers a simple, automatic solution called EasyBlend Color. This solution makes precise adjustments directly to the projectors.
What projectors does SDT support for color correction?
Currently we support BenQs, most Canons including the WUX10, Delta AV-3620, Digital Projection iVision 20SX, Eiki EIP 3000N, Eiki Lc X71, Hitachi CP Series, JVC RS1, 2, 20 & 25, JVC SX21 & DLA-SH4KNLG, MIT iMAGE Pro-HD3500, Mitsubishi XD460, Mitsubishi HD1000, NEC NP Series, Optoma EP910, Epson Procinema1080, Panasonic PT D7600U. Projection Design F3, Sanyo EF60, Sanyo XP46, Sony VW 50, 60 & 80 and SXRD 105, 110 and 220s. Toshiba. This list is not permanent and is constantly being updated. What cameras are approved for use with ScalableColor?
ScalableColor is designed to operate with the Canon Rebel series cameras.
For simple displays where color calibration is not required we have had success with the Logitech WebCam 9000 Pro.
What are the various screen orientations SDT has supported?
We support domes, cylinders, flat walls, articulated walls, caves, spheres. Please inquire about unique screen orientations.
What operating systems are supported?
We support Windows XP and Vista. We offer a Linux client to run on slave machines in a distributed rending environment.
What video cards are supported?
We strongly recommend a card with at least 256 Megabytes of memory. Typically most mid to high grade consumer cards work fine. Ex. Nvidia 9800 GTX. The ATI FirePro V-8800 with Eyefinity Technology is recommended. Graphic output from motherboards are not acceptable.
What is the recommended configuration for the computer system?
- At least 2 Gigabytes of RAM, 4GB is ideal
- Intel Corei5 Processor or better
- .Net 1.1, .Net 3.5, Windows Media Player 11 installed
- Java version 6 update 16
- Access to internet
- Firewall turned off if using multiple computers
- Minimum of 3 direct USB inputs
- Clean install of Windows XP, Vista or 7 Professional or better
Does Scalable support frame synchronized video running on multiple PCs?
Yes. ScalablePlayer is our product for this application.
How large should my projector overlap regions be?
For best results 15% - 20% of each projector should overlap onto the adjacent projector.
