ScalableDesktop vs. ScalableDesktop Classic
Although the names and the functionality appear to be similar, the underlying capabilities are quite different.
- - ScalableDesktop scales beyond six projectors, Classic is limited to six projectors
- - ScalableDesktop uses Nvidia professional cards, Classic uses any consumer cards
- - ScalableDesktop is fully application independent, Classic relies on Windows Aero
- - ScalableDesktop accounts for projector overlaps, Classic does not modify the desktop size to account for projector overlaps
